Valve Mount 1 (Pressure Install) 

Instructions

• Step 1: Pipe should be in good condition and have proper diameter. VM1 can be installed on lines with pressure without shutting down. Do not use in air or gas pipes.

• Step 2: Remove paint and clean pipe so that the pipe is smooth, clean, and dry.

• Step 3: Clamp the valve mount to the pipe.

• Step 4: Screw down clamp bolts

• Step 5: Using a wrench, screw in head joint in clockwise direction as far as it will go.

• Step 6: Using a wrench, screw back head joint in counter-clockwise direction.

• Step 7: The system is ready for use.

Valve Mount 2 (Unpressurized Install)  

Instructions

• Step 1: Ensure that there is no pressure in the line and the machine is shutoff and locked out. Pipe should be in good condition and have proper diameter. Do not use in air or gas pipes.

• Step 2: Remove paint and clean pipe so that the pipe is smooth, clean, and dry.

• Step 3: Clamp the valve mount to the pipe.

• Step 4: Screw down clamp bolts

• Step 5: Using a wrench, screw in head joint in clockwise direction as far as it will go.

• Step 6: Screw out the sampling valve and remove the spring plug, needle and pressure disk.

• Step 7: The sampling valve is screwed back in and the system is ready for use.
